Regent Christian Online Academy (RCOA) is looking for a Gr. 6-9 Outdoor Explorations Instructor and Assistant Instructor at our Lower Mainland location for the 2023-24 school year (Fridays).

These positions are ideal for those interested in teaching just 21 days in the year (7 days per term, 3 terms per year). Outdoor Explorations Instructors plan and teach this enrichment program through local place-based, all-season, inquiry-play, experiential learning. Students explore the biodiversity found in local areas, learn survival and safety skills, and develop environmental literacy through hands-on activities. The Gr. 6-9 class enjoys weekly activities such as biking, hiking, photography and more throughout the Lower Mainland. The Assistant Instructor supports the Instructor in teaching the class.

Interested applicants must be committed Christians, have experience in outdoor settings, be skilled at working with children, and work well in a team with other teachers and support staff. Applicants do not need to be BC certified teachers.
