Sheet Metal Apprentice

**We are Hiring Sheet Metal APPRENTICE**

Based in Victoria BC on the Saanich Peninsula, we are a family owned and operated,
Union company with Local 276 which offers an excellent benefits plan and wages

Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm

Alternating Fridays 7:00am to 3:30pm, following Friday OFF

Open to Probationary through 4th year Sheet Metal Apprentices. We are looking to hire someone interested in starting or has started an apprenticeship in HVAC & ductwork installations (high end residential & light commercial). We also have a custom fabrication division of our shop and train all of our apprentices to learn a bit of everything within the Sheet Metal trade to eventually be a well rounded Journeyperson.

**Ideal Qualifications**:

- General understanding of use of hand tools, power tools and duct layout is preferred.
- Good communication with contractors / owners / other employees.
- Self motivated with a great work ethic and attitude.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and interest is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Safety conscious.

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $19.75 - $37.98 per hour (based on experience level)
