**Responsibilities**
- Work safely in a Plant industrial environment and able to follow all safety procedures in accordance with company policies.
- Site Construction Support and execution of installation, start-up, commissioning and function testing of instrument system panels, field instrument panels, field instrumentation, fire, and gas detection system devices, etc.
- Work with a variety of pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and composition.
- Calibrate, repair, maintain, and adjust system components. Install and maintain instruments on new or existing equipment.
- Assist plant production by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and providing support for electronics including numerous label printers, applicators, and production data collection devices (scales, terminals, barcode scanners, etc)
- Assist the electrical department in programming VFD, controllers, PLCs, etc.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on plant equipment and systems.
- Read, interpret, and work from vendor documentation, project drawings, schematic diagrams, ladder diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Conduct scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance on process and environmental equipment in accordance with the SOP, Safety Health and Environmental policies, and current Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP)
- Calibrate and certify instruments and scales.
- Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, clean, repair, and reassemble equipment such as MCC’s, motors, instruments, and solenoid valves according to oral and written instructions.
- Repair and adjust system components such as sensors, transmitters, and programmable logic controllers, or remove and replace defective parts.
- Perform other advanced tasks such as Thermography, Interlock testing and Calibrations.
- A good foundation in basic mechanical and shop skills such as general maintenance, HVAC, lighting and plumbing.

**Requirements**:

- Certified with a minimum of 3 years of experience with installing, calibrating, troubleshooting and maintaining process instrumentation for measuring and controlling flow, pressure, temperature and level.
- Working knowledge of Programmable Electronic Systems (DCS, PLC) and the HMI’s that support these.
- A willingness to work overtime and respond to call-out after hours and weekends when needed.
- Ability to climb stairs and exposure to heights.
- Able to read and understand P&ID drawings, schematic drawings, control loop drawings, logic diagram and ladder diagram.
- Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, tests and documents related to processes.
- Experience in electrical work, operating Aerial work platforms/Boom lifts, building and installing trays and supports, terminations, installing and testing instruments, pulling in cable, installing lighting.
