**Position Overview**:
Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) will be part of the Product Development team and can drive the implementation and execution on Agile teams. Reporting to Director of Product Development, this role provides guidance and leads to building the Organizations Agile capability.
- Own multiple functional projects and technology roadmap projects and deliver at a time using agile scrum methodology.
- Should own the project from inception to full production release.
- Facilitates and supports all scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Supports the Product Owner and the team members to maintain a healthy backlog for the current and upcoming sprints; guides teams to commit to work within the boundaries of the team’s historical velocity.
- Facilitates the resolution of impediments raised by the team members; monitors sprint progress to identify potential issues or delays in the completion of work; coordinates cross platform dependencies; escalates issues to appropriate managers and/or other stakeholders.
- Communicate cross functionally, ensuring transparency of progress and outcomes; Report team progress and accomplishment up and across; Facilitate status updates, product demos and retrospectives.
- Guide and coach, the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
- Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
- Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.

**Required Skills**:

- Knowledge of current and emerging agile industry trends and best practices and internal or external business issues to improve team efficiency.
- Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of Scrum, Agile theory, methodology, techniques, rules, and practices, estimating/sizing, planning, forecasting, reporting, conflict resolution and facilitation.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence.
- Certification - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile principles and the Scrum Framework.
- 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master - where Scrum principles, practices and theory were diligently applied.
- 3+ years of experience in software development and/or project management and/or business (system) analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

- Experience setting up a new Agile team from Scratch.
- Certification - SaFE, PMP, Six Sigma / Lean
