**ABOUT YOU**
As an Electronics Repair Technician, you’ll be an essential part of our team, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. In this role, you’ll use your expertise to diagnose, repair, and refurbish electronic devices, contributing directly to the success of our operations. We're looking for someone with excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to spot trends, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. **WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Repair & Troubleshooting: Perform repairs on electronic devices, with a focus on printed circuit boards and embedded firmware.
- Diagnosis & Documentation: Accurately diagnose issues, repair components, and document the repairs in our ticketing system.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on repaired devices to ensure they meet performance standards.
- Trend Analysis: Identify and report failure-mode trends to management to help improve overall product reliability.
- Collaborate & Learn: Work alongside our Senior Technician, receiving training and mentorship to master our repair processes.
**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**
- Diploma or degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- 2+ years of experience in electronic repair, troubleshooting, or PCB assembly work (experience in lieu of formal education is acceptable).
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electronic devices, with knowledge of printed circuit boards and hand-soldering components.
- Familiarity with embedded firmware devices and basic electrical/mechanical systems (an asset).
- Experience using tools like multimeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation and the ability to accurately log repair processes and findings.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying trends and addressing recurring issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple repair tasks efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
