We are currently looking for a HACCP verifier to join our Quality team at the Florenceville Potato Plant on a **temporary backfill basis**. If you have excellent attention to detail, strong computer skills, are a team player, can work professionally, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders this is an exciting opportunity.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 12 education or GED. Post-secondary education considered an asset.
- Successful completion of a 90-day training period
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Possess strong communication (both written and verbal), organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Possess technical skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge/training in food safety (including HACCP and GMPs) considered an asset.

**Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Perform on-site verifications, ensuring that any discrepancies are identified and that effective corrective/preventative measures are promptly followed.
- Perform record verification for food safety programs.
- Facilitate all HACCP related employee training within the plant, including new employee orientation and refresher training sessions.
- Complete training effectiveness for all prerequisite procedures
- Review deviation reports daily and perform necessary follow-ups to ensure they are completed properly as per FSEP requirements.
- Edit, track, and communicate HACCP procedures and program changes.
- Review records/reports with CFIA representatives and accompany them to the production area when necessary.
- Attend HACCP meetings and assist in audit preparations.
- Participate in McCain's annual Performance Excellence Program training and evaluation process.
- Follow all safety requirements and maintain an excellent attendance record.
- Precisely follow "Good Manufacturing Practices" (GMP's) and Critical Control Points (CCP's)
- Break the Quality Lead, as required. Responsible for all relevant Quality Manager duties during this time.
