Kinesiologist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Kinesiologist to join our team at Sea to Sky Sport Physio. As a Kinesiologist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals improve their physical well-being and overall quality of life. **Duties**:

- Analyze clients' movement patterns, posture, and overall physical condition
- Collaborate with physiotherapists to determine rehab goals and programs for the client
- Develop personalized exercise programs based on clients' goals and needs
- Provide guidance and instruction on proper exercise techniques
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust programs as necessary
- Educate clients on injury prevention and safe exercise practices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical skills to assess clients' movement patterns and develop appropriate exercise programs. Ability to communicate with physiotherapists and help implement their rehab programs.
- experience working with clients who have sustained concussions
- Proficiency in using Jane, google doc software for scheduling and communication purposes
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients
- Strong organizational skills to manage client records and track progress
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to kinesiology and exercise science
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner
- Familiarity with Squamish regulations and guidelines for kinesiology practice
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

- Bilingual proficiency in additional languages, experience with rehab populations including concussion rehab

We offer competitive compensation based on experience. There is opportunity for this position to become full time work (based on caseload).
