We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori ECE Supervisor to join our dedicated team and help shape the future of our students by co-launching the Montessori Prep School.

**Job Description**:
As the Montessori ECE Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our PREP school and early childhood program, ensuring the highest standards of Montessori education are maintained. You will lead and support a team of dedicated educators, foster a positive learning environment, and collaborate with parents to create a cohesive and supportive community for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

- Co-Launch the PREP school Montessori program
- Supervise the general operation of the PREP school
- Planning and overseeing the implementation of the Montessori curriculum and ensure compliance with Ministry of Education and CCEYA standards and regulations.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ECE teachers and assistants.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions.
- Collaborate with parents to address concerns, provide updates on student progress, and facilitate parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of student development, attendance, and other relevant information.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.
- Promote the Montessori philosophy and principles within the school community.
- Participate in indoor and outdoor activities with the children during their scheduled activity time;
- Ensure compliance with all required standards (i.e. CCEYA, CCMA, etc.)
- Plan and implement key events for the school - graduation, holiday concert, etc.
- Address parents' questions and concerns on a timely basis
- Support the classrooms as needed

Qualifications:

- Certified Montessori teacher with a recognized Montessori diploma (AMS, AMI, or MACTE accredited).
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification or degree.
- International Baccalureate certification or experience an asset
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Montessori classroom setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of Montessori principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the Montessori philosophy.
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- Up-to-date medical records (immunizations), TB test, etc.
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check is required upon hiring
