**TerraPro is seeking an experienced Estimator for the Earthworks division (lease roads, road building, some reclamation work).**

**Location: Edmonton Area**

**Type: Fulltime, 40hrs/week**

**Schedule: Monday-Friday**

**When: Immediately**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the bid process and tender closing.
- Coordinate project pre-planning, including planning project start-up, securing required permits, and organizing and assembling job start files and supplies (paper & electronic).
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control.
- Assist PM with the management of monthly progress invoicing.
- Attend site meetings when required to assist the PM.
- Support Superintendents / foreman by scheduling material deliveries to site when required.
- Assist with QA/QC inspections.
- Coordinate, prepare, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Project Coordinator in the commercial/institutional construction industry.
- Completion of a Construction/Building Technology diploma, Engineering degree, Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation, or related educational equivalent.
- Able to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans.
- Solid understanding of all construction means, methods, and systems.
- Knowledge of industry standard trade scopes.
- Strong document control knowledge and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances, and legislation.
- Familiar with project scheduling processes and techniques.
- Able to perform construction estimates to produce change orders within a project.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations and related codes.
- Able to network and build lasting relationships within the industry and with potential clients.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft computer software (e.g. Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Commitment to working in a team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented individual with the ability to effectively work with multiple and competing priorities and timelines.
- Valid driver’s license.
