**Medical Clinic Office Manager**

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead our front desk medical office assistant team.

**Job Description**:

- Respond and ensure that patient inquiries and complaints are handled in an appropriate, timely, and satisfactory manner
- Prepare work schedules for medical office assistants
- Ensure that MOAs complete their duties and follow office policies
- Act as a liaison with physicians, nurses and other staff
- Order/purchasing office supplies
- Communication with electronic medical records (EMR) provider
- Deal with MOH to secure payment for online booking support
- Deal with insurance and third party requests
- Assist with the development/modification and implementation of clinic policies
- Maintain office efficiency by optimizing staff workflow and distribute responsibilities, help train staff
- Responsible for dealing with DoctorCare on any billing reconciliation errors.

**Requirements**:

- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- We will also consider applicants who have worked for at least two years in a physician’s office or medical clinic who have not held a manager position.
- A Medical Office Assistant Certificate from an accredited educational facility would be an asset.
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) is essential
- Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in-person in an empathic and patient-centric manner
- Demonstration of good judgment with an ability to work independently in a time-efficient manner
- Computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet programs, appointment scheduling, QuickBooks, and ability to master practice management software
- Working knowledge of OHIP codes and billing as well as the ability to accurately bill and reconcile

**Assets**:

- Experience working with a culturally diverse clientele
- Ability to speak other languages is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- MISSISSAUGA, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
