**Job Title**:Human Resources Business Partner
**Location**:Grande Prairie, AB
**Position Summary**: The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for overseeing all human resource functions supporting their assigned business units. Working closely with the HR Managers and other HR peers, the successful incumbent will provide high level coaching and partnership support to business leaders within the organization. This individual will have proven competence in key priorities such as: talent management, leadership coaching, change management, performance management, training, payroll & benefits administration, and employment law compliance and recruitment. This is a newly created role to support the growth of the organization from a people and relationship management perspective.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
- Act as a strategic partner to management on human-resource related issues.
- Provide guidance, coaching and advice to client group leaders on questions or concerns related to HR policies, procedures, programs and laws, and building policy and guidelines to service the Human Resources department and business.
- Working with the HR Manager and Sr. HRBP, resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
- Facilitate training as part of employee development as well as other initiatives within the organization.
- Work with the rest of the Human Resources team to support change initiatives within the company.
- Implement, communicate and administer the requirements of all regulations, plans and procedures that affect HR functions.
- Assist in ensuring policies, procedures and reporting follow the business compliance standards.
- In collaboration with the HR team, ensure that payroll data related to client group is properly processed with necessary backup attached.
- Benefits administration including education for new hires and disability leave management.
- Analyze trends and metrics within the HR department to produce strategic reports for senior management and executives.
- Provide full cycle recruitment support for all positions within client group working with HR Coordinator including office and field based roles, including creating job post, screening resumes, telephone pre-screens, in person interviews, reference checks and extending offers.
- Maintain electronic personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements;
- Support the HR team to deliver key annual programs including succession planning, goal setting, performance and compensation reviews;
- Provide ad hoc reporting to HR Manager, executives and client group business units to facilitate informed decisions;
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
**Who We’re Looking For**:
- Post-secondary education (diploma or degree) in Human Resources, Business or related area;
- Minimum five years job-related progressive experience within Human Resources including significant and relevant experience coaching, advising and managing relationships with client groups;
- Ability to develop plans and then bring them to action - engaging relevant stakeholders and managing expectations around timing, process etc.
- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.

**Nice to Have**:
- Previous exposure to UKG Pro or similar HCMS an asset;
- Experience working with employment standards and compliance with all applicable labour laws and CSOX an asset;
- Previous experience working in a satellite office and maintaining a close collaboration with teammates dispersed geographically.
