Kitchen Hand duties include but are not limited to,
⦁ Prepare and coordinate the preparation and portioning of all food items (chopping and peeling vegetables, preparing proteins for cooking);
⦁ prepare menu items using grill, range and deep fryers;
⦁ ensure all food and condiments are prepared to the highest quality in accordance with established brand standards;
⦁ train other staff as required in the preparation of all foods and condiments;
⦁ direct, motivate and lead all assigned staff in the preparation of menu items and condiments;
⦁ ensure all health and food safety protocols are adhered to in the kitchen to meet required health code and brand standards;
⦁ ensure sufficient quantities of food and condiments are prepared to meet expected customer demand;
⦁ estimate and recommend amounts of required ingredients to support restaurant service demand;
⦁ ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order and inform management of repairs required as soon as possible.

**Experience**:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)

Work Location: In person
