Looking to work in a **fun and friendly outdoor atmosphere** with some **great golf perks**?

We are currently looking to add to our team of **Starters & Marshals** This position includes part-time hours from now until the end of September, based on weather. The position entails a combination of shifts a Starter helping guests kick off their golfing day from the first tee and helping customers during their round as a Marshal when needed.

Applicants must be able to **_work at least two times a week from Thursday - Sunday_**. Must be able to lift and move heavy objects as well as wash power carts as needed.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- _Offer consistent, professional, engaging and friendly customer service_
- _Coordinate and manage tee times at the first tee_
- _Inform golfers of course information such as conditions, rules, promotions etc._
- _Ensure compliance with course policies like dress code, outside alcohol, golf cart rules and course etiquette_
- _Use the POS system to track start and finish times of golfers_
- _Clean power carts and pull carts_
- _Set up and remove tournament-related items such as tents, tables, chairs, on-course signage etc._
- _Assist golfers in maintaining a proper pace of play and address issues promptly and professionally_
- _Perform light golf maintenance duties like sand and seed, repair ball marks etc._
- _Provide assistance to golfers as needed_
- _Other duties as assigned_

- _Able to use different computer programs and POS systems_
- _Able to lift up to 40 lbs_

**Qualifications**
- _Knowledge of the game of golf as well as its rules and etiquette is required_
- _Willingness to complete a Police Information Check is required_
- _Valid First Aid Level 1, CPR, and AED Certification or equivalent will be required to be maintained during employment_
- _Experience as a starter or marshal is an asset_
- Operated by Ten Feet Sports and Entertainment, the Redwoods Golf Course has been serving locals and guests since 1994. Redwoods is situated in North Langley just off of Highway #1 and minutes from the Golden Ears Bridge._
