Babysitter/nanny

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide compassionate and personalized care to our toddler and newborn, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Create a stimulating, nurturing, and educational environment: read to the children, and engage in a variety of educational and creative play activities
- Manage children's schedule including meals, nap times, and recreational activities
- Prepare nutritious and age-appropriate meals for the children
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, tidying, and maintaining children's areas
- Full housekeeping as necessary, including cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming other parts of the home
- Help with meal preparation for the family
- Accompany children to various social and educational activities outside the home, when necessary
- Regular communication with parents about daily activities and any behavioral or developmental milestones or concerns

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a full-time nanny, specifically with infants and toddlers
- Knowledge of age-specific developmental, emotional, and health needs
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages
- Ability to cook nutritious meals and perform housekeeping tasks
- Ability to handle the physical demands of caring for young children
- High school diploma or equivalent; further training in child care and development such as a CDA is a plus
- Exceptional patience, communication skills, and multitasking ability
- Comfortable with background checks and providing professional references
