Toronto, Canada Service In Your City Full time

Looking for RPN's to work part time with experience in nursing home.

To provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Specialized knowledge, skill and judgement is required to promote the health and well being of residents.

**Responsibilities**

**Tasks**
- Administer medication and observe and document therapeutic effects
- Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
- Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice
- Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team

**Qualifications**
- Registered Practical Nurse Certificate
- CPR and Police check up-to date
- Strong time management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Computer skills and ability with technology for communication and information management.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, tact and discretion.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and build consensus.

Must be able to work days, evenings and/or nights.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $34.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- LPN/RPN (preferred)
- Nursing (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
