**Planner/Estimator**

**As our Planner / Estimator you will work with our sales, engineering and planning teams to assist with the development of preliminary designs, cost estimates, scheduling and proposal submission.**

**Position Overview**:

- **Support proposal development process as directed by the Project Planners.**:

- Perform material take offs for concrete, steel and civil.
- Interpret “**as-built” cost information** for analysis
- **Reading and interpreting construction drawings**.
- Review and interpret tender packages.

**Qualifications Needed**:

- **A CET designation as a minimum.**:

- Experience in planning or estimating role, specifically in the construction industry.
- Experience using **AutoCAD, Microsoft Office / Project, and other engineering design and project management software**.
- The ability to travel and a driver’s license.
- A clear communicator offering creative solutions while managing tight deadlines and critical project details.
- Basic **understanding of construction laws, contracts, insurance, bonding and provincial taxation**.
