Duties & Responsibilities:

- Greet guests and take orders for food and beverages.
- Assist in basic food and beverage preparation.
- Promote recreational and tourism assets and sites throughout the M.D.
- Prepare daily floats, cash outs, electronic transactions, and reconciliations.
- Assist with maintaining public areas, displays, tables, and benches.
- Perform good housekeeping practices in all outdoor public spaces, the concession, VIC, and washrooms.
- Provide support to Visitor Information Centre Attendants.
- Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required.

Qualifications:

- Highly positive, self-motivated, professional, and friendly individual that excels in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Food handling, preparation, cleaning, and sanitization experience will be considered an asset.
- Ability to take directions and follow task lists.
- Self-motivated and good time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak a second or third language (French, Ukrainian, or German) will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision or in a team environment.
- Adapt to change and present solutions to the workplace.
- Ability to remain calm when experiencing high stress or unexpected situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite programs and data entry.
- Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license in good standing or have ability to arrive to facility on time by other means.
- Provide a vulnerable sector check.
