The **Financial Analyst** is responsible for overall responsibility to co-ordinate, prepare and present relevant reporting and analysis to various business units.

**Responsibilities**:

- Determine divisional, operational, and financial reporting requirements
- Prepare and distribute a variety of reports and deliverables as assigned by the Financial Analysis Manager
- Maintain a schedule of recurring deliverables and ensure delivery on a timely basis
- Identify, analyze and interpret data trends or patterns
- Identify outliers in data trends, proactively investigate and communicate potential issues
- Use a variety of analytical methods including but not limited to: variance analysis, horizontal analysis (trends over time), vertical analysis (profitability), root cause analysis, process analysis
- Prepare and present divisional and segments results using a wide variety of tools, with a focus towards variance analysis, key findings and recommendations
- Aid Financial Analysis Manager in preparing overall company forecasts
- Develop, maintain and update quarterly and annual forecast models.

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- 4+ years’ work experience in finance or accounting environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Must be able to create Excel based formulas, pivot tables, lookups, etc.
- Competency in Microsoft Office suite
- Working knowledge of SAP ERP an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills and solid communication skills; ability to work effectively with people across the organization at all levels and with external customers
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively
- Highly organized, detail-oriented individual with ability to produce high quality reports
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within strict deadlines
- Incumbent is expected to present a professional view of the FP&A department, demonstrating integrity, encouraging confidence, and positivity
- Enrollment in an CFA or CPA designation or Enrollment in the CPA ACAF program an asset
