Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Experience providing clerical and administrative support.
- Experience working with database systems, including data entry for updating and maintaining file information.
- Strong client service skills to deal effectively with telephone and in-person inquiries.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare various correspondence and reports.
- Strong attention to detail including a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Effective organizational skills to identify priorities and work within tight timelines to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
- Experience and proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work with confidential information in a professional manner.

**Desired**:

- Knowledge of legal land descriptions in Manitoba.

**Duties**:
This is a Clerical position in a district Assessment Office supporting the day-to-day functions of the office by performing general clerical duties, responding to public inquiries, preparing correspondence and processing property changes in the assessment and tax databases.
