**PRIMARY OBJECTIVES**

The Church Administrator ensures the successful operation of the church office as it relates to office communication, events, resource planning /administration, and the coordination of activities between the various ministries of Immanuel. The Church Administrator will also help to oversee facility staff and, outside contractors to ensure the care of Immanuel Church.

- Event coordination experience
- Church experience is preferred
- Experience using church management software is an asset.
- Able to see the big picture but able to break it down and ensure that all the small pieces are taken care of.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee the daily operations of the church run smoothly and to provide a knowledgeable ministry presence during office hours.
- Oversee communications plan and ensures the church family is up-to date about what’s happening at Immanuel.
- Provide a warm and friendly reception to the community and congregation that communicates on our behalf our commitment to become passionate followers of Jesus.
- Assist in event planning and execution.
- Oversee administration of ministry leaders to coordinate schedules and calendars (ongoing and special events, meetings etc.)
- Oversee the Facilities Manager and their responsibilities at Immanuel.
- Identify, recruit and train leaders for the Connect and Hospitality Ministries.
- Assist Lead Pastor, volunteers and the Treasurer with financial related duties.
- Ensure office/facility supplies are on-hand when needed.
- Ensure filing of paperwork/reports is done properly and in a timely manner.
- Provide administrative support to the Lead Pastor when needed.
- Other duties assigned by the Lead Pastor.

**EXPECTED RESULTS**
- Church family feels connected and informed.
- Church-wide programs/events and the office are running smoothly from an administrative perspective
- The Connect/Hospitality teams feels equipped and has a sense of vision, purpose, and value.
- Facilities needs are directed to our facilities manager or contractors in a timely manner.

**HOURS AND REMUNERATION**

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
