We specialize in the sales, leasing, and servicing of commercial trucks, and we are seeking experienced drivers to help transport our vehicles from locations across the country back to our dealership.

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for dedicated and reliable Class 3 truck drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking up trucks (no trailers) from various locations across Canada and safely transporting them back to our dealership. You will be working independently, ensuring that all vehicles are delivered in a timely and safe manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Pick up trucks (no trailers) from designated locations across Canada.
- Safely drive and transport trucks to our dealership in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure trucks are in proper working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transport.
- Report any issues or maintenance needs to the operations Manager or relevant personnel.
- Maintain accurate logs of travel, truck conditions, and any other required documentation.
- Ensure trucks are delivered in the condition they were picked up.
- Assist with minor paperwork related to vehicle pickups and deliveries.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure efficient transport operations.
- In the event of a breakdown, follow proper procedures for reporting and handling the situation, and stay on standby until assistance arrives.

**Compensation**:

- **Flat Fee Pay**: For specific destinations, a flat fee will be paid, depending on the distance and complexity of the route.
- **Standby Pay**: In the event of a breakdown or other delays outside of your control, you will be compensated with standby pay until the issue is resolved or assistance arrives.
- **Supportive Work Environment**: Join a friendly, dedicated team with a focus on safety and efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of a valid Class 3 commercial driver's license (or equivalent).
- Clean driving record
- Ability to drive long distances across varying road conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Must be able to perform basic vehicle checks and identify potential maintenance issues.
- A positive attitude and willingness to represent Aspen Truck Sales and Leasing Ltd. in a professional manner.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience transporting commercial vehicles or trucks is an asset.
- Knowledge of different truck types and their specific handling requirements.
- Ability to handle minor roadside repairs or troubleshooting

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1/3 Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
