Cad Drafter

**About us**

We are professional, innovative, collaborative, and our goal is to We are seeking a skilled CAD drafter to join our stair and railing company. As a CAD drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and 3D models of custom stairs and railings for residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with our project managers, and fabricators to ensure that designs meet customer specifications and are built to the highest quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Use CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of custom stairs and railings
- Produce detailed drawings for fabrication and installation
- Work closely with project managers to ensure designs meet customer specifications and deadlines
- Collaborate with fabricators to ensure designs are feasible
- Review and analyze architectural plans and specifications to ensure accurate representation of design intent
- Maintain accurate project files and documentation

**Requirements**:

- Associate's degree or certificate in drafting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to stairs and railings preferred, but not required

**Responsibilities**:

- Create drawings and diagrams using CAD software.
- Develop detailed drawings from sketches and other sources.
- Check accuracy of drawings and make necessary corrections.
- Maintain records of drawings and other documents.
- Work with engineers to ensure accuracy of drawings.
- Provide technical support to other departments as needed.

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 3 years (preferred)
- drafting: 1 year (preferred)
