**The Provincial Remote Support Team** (PRST) in the Service Delivery Division works collaboratively with ministry child protection teams serving Northern communities.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative and clerical support to the Provincial Remote Support Team.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent
- One (1) year of recent [within the last 2 years] administrative support experience in an office environment
- Experience providing quality customer or client service, carrying out administrative and clerical duties and responding to client needs in a professional manner.

**PREFERENCE MAY BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WITH THE FOLLOWING**:

- One year or more of current employment as a MCFD Team Assistant
- Administrative experience working with vulnerable children and families in a human/social services setting.
- Experience processing financial documents (e.g. checking invoices for accuracy, completing routine payment documents, liaising with other divisions to resolve client payment issues/problems/concerns).
- Experience working independently and as a team member with a multi-disciplinary environment and with other professional staff, client and service providers.
- Applicants who self-identify as Indigenous with the required combination of education and experience.
- Office administration certificate or diploma.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work a hybrid schedule as per the Telework Agreement upon discussion with supervisor.
This is a temporary opportunity that may become permanent
This position will be based in Port Moody but may required to work from and or commute to the offices in Burnaby, Surrey and Vancouver.
This opportunity is restricted to applicants who currently reside in the lower mainland.
