**Description**:
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the Clinical Care Manager, will be responsible for providing direction, team leadership and organization over the daily operations of Acute Care and the Emergency Department. As a front-line leader you will be responsible and accountable for making unit-level decisions and contributing to the unit goals while supporting the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. While prioritizing and promoting a culture of safety, the Clinical Care Manager is required to implement and support new practices through effective change leadership. This position also demands the ability to develop, engage and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and a multidisciplinary team while optimizing patient-centred care.

**Required Qualifications**:
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing is required. Three to five years in a healthcare provider role and a minimum of one year working a in a leadership capacity. Active registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA) is required. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Leadership skills, including effective communication skills, demonstrated ability and comfort with decisions making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills and commitment to providing quality services. Demonstrated ability to manage change. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation among, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other partners.

A combination of knowledge, technical skills and social process skills may be considered.
