Stationary Technician

**QUEBEC RESIDENTS ONLY**

**Overview**

Reporting to the Facility and Maintenance Supervisor, the MMF is responsible for all utilities operation, maintenance and repairs. Utilities include the following equipment: steam boilers, chillers, ventilation systems, water systems, air compressors, backup generators among other things.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Visually inspects equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication, while following SOPs.
- Records data in logbooks; data includes parameters such as temperature, flow, pressure, and any other information deemed important or critical for the operation of the utilities or systems.
- Performs periodic preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment as per preventive maintenance schedule.
- Executes, in a timely manner, the preventive maintenance work orders assigned to him/her while highlighting critical non-conformances in respect to the activity.
- Supports maintenance supervisor to coordinate contractors’ service visits to ensure appropriate maintenance work is completed on time and according to existing procedures.
- Operates and navigates through the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure utilities are functioning as expected.
- Back-up for this role is the Facility and Maintenance Supervisor.
- Required to be on-call during their shift

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Technical diploma as stationary technician (DEP).
- Minimum of 5 years of previous related experience in Pharmaceutical, Food or Cosmetics industries.
- 4B MMF license or higher.
- Knowledge of GMP standards for building and equipment maintenance a plus.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Building Management Systems is an asset (Regulvar, Siemens, Honeywell).
- Highly organized and ability to multi-task.
- Bilingual (English/French), spoken and written.
