Attending to 40,000+ service calls per year, Gateway is the largest HVAC & Refrigeration service provider in Western Canada. Our model is comprised of local branch teams with fully qualified personnel representing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing/gas fitting, sheet metal, and, electrical trades. These teams are supported by centers of excellence including professional engineers and project managers which ensures Gateway’s full technical capability is available for every project and service call.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Installation and fabrication of hangers.
- Assemble and install fire damper and ductwork.
- Prepare material and consumable lists for site leads.
- Determine roof layout.
- Coordinate with other trades on multiple sites.
- Complete the required inspections, safety reports, and field-level hazard assessments.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Other required duties may be assigned that fall within the parameters of the primary responsibility of the position.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Excellent prioritization skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure, independently or in a team environment
- Safety conscious attitude

**Minimum Requirements/Certifications**:

- Valid Sheetmetal certification.
- Understanding of construction and building codes.
- Read and understand building code.
- Understand Prints, Specs, and Shop Drawings
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Hold valid safety certifications including First Aid and CPR, EWP, CSTS, Fall Protection etc.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable 5-year driving abstract
