**The Role**

We are currently recruiting for an experienced** Zoom Boom/Skid Steer Operator **for a shutdown at IPL Extraction Plant in Cochrane (35 minutes from Calgary). This is starting as soon as possible and will go until September 30th. You will be working 12 hour days.

**Compensation/Benefits**
- $31 - $36 per hour based on experience
- Overtime after 8 hours per day
- $150 LOA

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and understand site-specific instructions prior to each task
- Demonstrates safe operation of all equipment
- Must be able to take directions from Journeyperson and work within a team environment
- Assist Journeyperson with Blinding and Deblinding process equipment
- Complete tasks in line with OCL and industry standards, procedures and practices

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Must have 3 years experience running Zoom Boom or Skid Steer with an active ticket
- Must have experience working in a live plant environment
- Must have experience operating a zoom boom in tight spaces
- Previous experience working outages and turnarounds is an asset
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Must be willing to work from heights
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
