Minimum qualifications:
PhD in Sociology required (or equivalent as demonstrated by refereed, published research). Strong academic record in area required.

Preferred qualifications:
Superior undergraduate teaching at the university level directly related to the area is strongly preferred.

Description of Duties: This course will be taught online synchronous. The Sessional Lecturer in SOC313H1F is responsible for the preparation of the course syllabus, the preparation and presentation of course material. It is the duty of the Sessional Lecturer to attend regularly scheduled office hours. Sessional Lecturers are responsible for supervising the work of TA’s assigned to this course; for preparing and evaluating course assignments, term tests, and the final examination; and for submitting final marks in accordance with University deadlines.
