We are currently looking for an Articling Clerk to join our Corporate Legal Team.

**As an Articling Clerk within our Corporate Legal team you will**:

- Corporate transactions;
- Commercial work, including the purchase and sale of various goods and services, commodity (natural gas and power) agreements, real estate, electricity purchase and sale arrangements;
- Significant exposure to contract negotiations and drafting;
- Advice on legislation, regulations, licenses, permits and approvals governing our operations;
- Securities filings;
- Preparing for, and attending hearings before various administrative tribunals, including the Nova Scotia Utilities and Review Board;
- Advising on compliance issues that arise in relation to our businesses; and
- Research and legal drafting.

- Proven ability to work in a complex, regulated corporate environment;
- Superior writing skills including the ability to compile information from research, case files or verbal direction, in order to draft documentation;

- Proficient with the use of information technology tools.
