Airport Cleaner

Bouygues Energies & Services, a leading facilities management Company, is hiring a part-time Heavy-Duty Cleaner to work at the Winnipeg Airport, starting immediately.

The work is 3 (three) days per week Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The pay rate is $14.42 per hour.

All employees must be double vaccinated.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous cleaning experience in a large public building;
- Experience following detailed cleaning policies and procedures;
- Knowledge and experience of chemicals, products, and equipment in the cleaning industry;
- The ability to communicate effectively, and provide excellent customer service, to our customers;
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Transport Canada Security Clearance;
- The ability to walk and/or stand throughout the entire shift.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Dry and wet mopping (wash/scrub); polishing all hard surface floors; extracting broadloom carpets.
- Stripping and finishing hard surface floors manually or with power equipment;
- Cleaning all surfaces that must be reached by ladder or scaffolding (e.g. stairwells, elevator cabs, windows);
- Collecting and removing garbage from drop points to a garbage bin or compactor; operating and cleaning the compactor;
- Removing snow by using walk-behind snow machines and manual shovel during winter;
