Norquay Trusses is currently seeking **Truss Builders** to join our team. **You **will report to the manufacturing and distribution location at 540 Dundas Street, Sault Ste. Marie. Norquay is a Multi-Disciplinary Engineering, Building Design and Wood Truss Manufacturing firm. We are known for quality design work, outstanding client service and we maintain a positive while flexible work environment for employees.

Using state of the art equipment and automation, our design and manufacturing teams are dedicated to providing quality products and service. Experience building trusses is a definite asset, however, we are willing to train the right individual.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Work with a team in building trusses as per specified blueprints
- Use power tools and hand tools safely to perform duties
- Ensure assigned work station is kept clean and tidy
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Assist in daily operations and tasks as assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- Interest in learning the roof truss manufacturing process
- Experience in construction, manufacturing or warehousing an asset
- Knowledge or experience in framing is an asset
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Must be comfortable working in a noisy and fast paced environment
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills; ability to read a tape measure; basic measurement calculations
- Basic computer skills
- Must have excellent safety record and steel toe boots
