**Production Assistant**

**Description**:
vbs apparel is looking for a full-time Production / Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This role reports to our Production Lead and will play a vital role in supporting the production process, through quality checks, packaging and shipping and maintaining a high standard of quality in our products. You will collaborate with various teams to facilitate the production process and help meet our production targets. As a young company there is also room for professional growth.

Your initial role will include:

- **Inventory management**:Through monitoring and maintenance of inventory levels, ensuring we always have an adequate supply on-hand for production purposes.
- **Quality Control**:Participate in quality control check to verify the integrity and accuracy of products, identify, and report any defects or discrepancies.
- **Equipment and Facility Maintenance**: Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of production equipment and work areas, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**: Accurately record production data, inventory counts, and any other relevant information using designated systems or tools.
- **Order Management & Support**:Confirm garment colours, quantities and sizes are accurate. Confirming accuracy of order before properly folding, packing, and shipping it to Customers.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, marketing, and management to ensure a smooth workflow and address any production-related issues.
- **Process Improvement**: Provide input and suggestions for process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality in the production process.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (30+ pounds) and stand for extended periods during repetitive production tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic record-keeping skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

**Schedule**:

- 8-hour shift

Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate production demands and event support.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
