Carpenter/maintenance

We are looking for a full time Carpenter/ Maintenance person to assist in with new construction projects as well as Perform maintenance & repairs related to buildings, grounds and equipment.

**Responsibilities**:
Carpentry
- Construct and install structures such as walls, roofs, decks, and staircases
- Perform finishing work, such as trim and molding, to a high standard
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, hammers, and drills
- Install windows, doors, and cabinets
- Repair and maintain existing structures and fixtures
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Communicate effectively with other trades and project managers

Building Maintenance
- Perform routine and emergency repairs and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Inspect and diagnose problems with building systems and equipment
- Replace or repair faulty equipment or systems as needed
- Maintain and repair building exteriors, including roofing, siding, and windows

**Requirements**:

- Experience in building maintenance or construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design specifications
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair building systems and equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical labor
- A valid driver’s license.

**Salary**: $1.00 per day
