**A summer opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Fort Saskatchewan facilities beginning May 2024 for an approximate 4-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.**

**What you will do**:

- Laboratory bench work
- General laboratory tasks (instrument maintenance and calibrations, chemical inventory, housekeeping)
- Physical and chemical testing of nitrogen fertilizers
- Groundwater sampling and testing, grass sampling, and various environmental tasks and testing

**What you will bring**:

- Enrolled in a Science program (Chemical Technology or Chemistry) or equivalent degree/technical program
- Competence in standard Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Previous related work experience at Nutrien or in another industrial setting, an asset
- Confirmation of registration in a post-secondary institution in a degree or diploma program in Fall 2024
- Must be self-motivated along with the ability to pay close attention to detail and have a strong ability to work individually as well as in a team setting.
