Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Beverage Apprentice is responsible for set up, sanitation, maintenance and operation of equipment and processes required for bulk mixing and packaging of beverages including Emulsion and Glatt processes.

**Beverage experience is mandatory

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm and 2:00pm - 10:30pm.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operation of equipment for water purification, carbonation, and mixing
- Cleaning and sanitation of equipment
- Proper handling of chemicals
- Controlling and adjusting machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Inspect parts with precision measuring tools
- Fix Issues that might occur during the shift
- Fully understand the emulsion and Glatt processes
- Ensuring the effective execution of Manufacturing tasks within established company policy, procedure, and requirements (Safety, Quality, Compliance
- Complete understanding and sign off of the training matrix for both Emulsion and Bev process within a 12-month period, progressively work through stages of the processes with support provided from Tilray.
- Demonstrate competencies and confidence of the tasks required to operate.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**- High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical degree is an asset
- Proven experience in beverage in beverage manufacturing (equipment operation), minimum 1 year
- Knowledge of blending equipment/blending processes considered an asset
- Willingness to participate in problem solving exercises
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of production procedures
- Reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co
- workers
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Analytical skills

Ability to safely perform physical work, including, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting to 25lbs
