Kingston, Canada An Apple A Daycare Inc Full time

**Position Qualifications**:

- **Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred**:

- **Standard First Aid
- CPR C-AED**

**We are looking for staff that are warm, caring, responsive individuals that concentrate on building positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and the community. Experience with children with a very active group of Toddler or Preschool children.**

**Description of Position**:

- **Plan and deliver quality child care in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act and “How Does Learning Happen”**:

- **Work collaboratively and cooperatively with the centre staff and management team**:

- **Work collaboratively with parents to build strong, trusting relationships**:

- **Collaborate with children to co-plan and implement a child-centred and play-based curriculum.**:

- **Use a variety of materials to intentionally create or adapt indoor and outdoor learning environments that support children’s exploration and learning**

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- **Attend staff meeting monthly held after hours**:

- **Participate in Professional Learning opportunities**:

- **Update First Aid as required**:

- **Participate and help plan parent nights**

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Child Care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C (required)
- CPIC with Vulnerable Sector Screen (preferred)
