Renovation Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a dedicated resource for new construction and in-house renovations as needed.
- Perform carpenter/craftsman duties as requested.
- Install cabinets, laminate, doors, trim, rough and finish carpentry.
- Install ceramic tile and do floor substrate preparation
- Complete framing/drywall, textures, and other finishes as instructed by the Project Manager.
- Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager and Renovation foreman and report any issues that arise.
- Monitor project timelines to ensure timely completion of work.
- Report any material shortages to the Project Manager and foreman immediately.
- Execute duties with OSHA safety compliance in mind. Report any unsafe acts that may be observed.
- Assist fellow renovation teammates as needed.

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Oshawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- renovation: 4 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
