**Position Summary**

The Warehouse LTC - Lead Hand is responsible for achieving the prescribed company objectives for safety, efficiency, quality, inventory accuracy and customer service. Particular emphasis is placed on the guidance of warehouse team members and working according to operational action plans specific to receiving, warehousing and shipping product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

**Location: Oshawa, Ontario**

**Schedule**:Tuesday to Friday - 11:00am to 7:30pm, Saturday - 6:00am to 2:30pm**

**What you will do**
- Lead the warehouse staff ensuring appliances are picked/staged accurately
- Ensure proper count of pieces off-loaded from each vendor trailer
- Ensure drivers are loading out the correct run and investigate any missing items
- Ensure driver return are placed in the correct locations and the paperwork from the drivers is filled in correctly before driver off-load the returns
- Use WMS to find items for picking or inquiries as needed
- Ensure all turn trucks are loaded according to schedule
- Ensure HVP runs are picked and staged
- Send nightly reports
- Monitor dimensions and weight for all turn truck freight
- Notify vendors of any damaged product
- Notify supervisor of any delays with regard to inbound trucks or staging
- Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers
- Follow all project Instructions as per Supervisor

**What You’ll Bring**
- Minimum grade 12 education and 1 year of experience
- Fork lift certification
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Inventory systems)
- Experience in delegation and/or project management
- Current Criminal Reference Check
- Flexibility in working both early and late shifts as well as weekends
- Ability to lift approximately 35 kilograms
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately with attention to detail
