Warehouse Associate

The Vicinity Motor (Bus) Corporation (Previously Grande West Transportation Group) is a Canadian bus manufacturer which designs, engineers and manufactures mid-size buses for transit authorities and commercial enterprises. The Vicinity bus is available in a variety of models powered by clean diesel or CNG, designed with affordability, accessibility and environmental responsibility in mind. Further to this, as a part of the global transition to sustainable transportation, the Vicinity Motor Corporation will be introducing the Vicinity Lightning EV bus, as well as a line of Electric Work Trucks.

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate for a growing Parts division to assist with the aftermarket support for our vehicles.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Unloading and unpacking incoming shipments/containers, and organizing them in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Following safety procedures and adhering to them. - Prepare items for shipping including packaging, crating, palletizing. - Picking orders from throughout the warehouse. - Ensuring that quantities are accurate upon receiving and prior to shipping. - Able to work in a fast pace environment. - Have a sense of urgency. - Self-starter requiring limited supervision and a desire to work within a team environment. - Other inventory related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Multitasking skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Forklift Certification is required (sitdown counterbalance)
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds
- Steel toe boots are required
