**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, grout, adhesives, and repairing any imperfections
- Lay tiles in a uniform manner ensuring proper alignment and spacing
- Utilize hand tools such as tile cutters, trowels, levels, and spacers
- Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine layout requirements
- Perform caulking and grouting to finish the tile installation
- Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools common to the trade
- Knowledge of different tile types, patterns, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and understand blueprints or technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, lift heavy materials, and work in various environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
