**Mold-Masters** is looking for a
**Final Rotary Grinder **to join our team in
**Georgetown, ON**. This role is responsible for setting up and operation of rotary grinding machines to grind external surfaces to specifications. In this role, the Final Rotary Grinder is responsible for grinding a quality product that meets the customer’s expectations and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

**What you’ll do**:

- Determine requirements, dimensional specifications, and set up requirements from process sheets and blueprints.
- Ensure that dimensions meet requirements from process sheets and blueprints.
- Setup and operate tools and machinery to assure flatness of materials to a specified dimension.
- Mount and dress the required Grinding Wheel.
- Complete In-Process and Final-Process quality checks as required, using gauges, micrometers, indicators etc.
- Use various hand tools and/or overhead hoist as required.
- Set appropriate magnetic chuck or related jig to hold components securely for grinding operations.
- Check blueprints to verify machining dimensions; use mounted grinding wheel to machine final desired dimension.
- Set machine controls to specified grinding speeds, feed rates, and angle of wheel.
- Verifies dimensions of finished workpiece for conformance to specifications.

o Conduct water pressure test to manifolds to verify compliance to applicable blueprints, test sheets and JIS.

o Observes and listens to machine operation in order to detect malfunctions when possible.
- Conduct minor preventative maintenance procedures as scheduled and complete minor troubleshooting as required.
- Notify Team Leader or Lead Hand when run times are incorrect or product will not meet timelines.
- Report discrepancies to the appropriate department.
- Provide guidance and/or training for apprentices when required.
- Make recommendations for productivity and/or method improvements.
- Ensure ISO guidelines are followed; follow Job Instruction Sheets and Tag Procedures etc.
- Meet customer requirements, it is imperative that workpiece meet dimensional requirements of the blueprint and/or specifications.
- The Final Rotary Grinder works with general supervision of assigned tasks and must be capable of working as a team.

**Basic Requirements**:

- High School Diploma
- 1 plus years equivalent training/experience.

**Great to Haves**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and good manual dexterity is required.
- Be capable of reading and interpreting documents such as safety policy and procedures, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
