Low-rise Sheet Metal Installer

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain sheet metal components and systems in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and industry standards.
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Measure and cut sheet metal to desired dimensions.
- Install ductwork for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot sheet metal systems for defects or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and installation practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in building, construction painting, drywall, and flooring installation.
- Experience with tile laying and restoration projects.
- Knowledge of welding techniques for sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.

- Residential/Low-Rise Sheet Metal: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
