This role will be primarily remote but will require in office attendance for collaboration days, team meetings, etc.
**SoWhat Will You Spend Your Time Doing?**
- Gather and organize the documentation from all parties throughout the due diligence process; maintain the data warehouse.
- Conduct research to support input into the acquisition opportunity and pipeline.
- Provide initial inputs into the scorecard & other due diligence documentation to help with the assessment of the viability of the acquisition opportunity.
- Support the M&A team by updating pipeline tracking.
- Provide ongoing analysis and support to the M&A team throughout the full deal cycle.
- Review and verify analysis and related schedules/source documents.
- Reference and tie supporting documentation to schedules and source documents.
- Support ad hoc requests for analysis.
- Work with marketing to help develop collateral to sell the value proposition of Collectivfide. Identify opportunities to continuously streamline and improve the M&A tools and processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or other related field.
- 2 years prior experience working in a finance or related role, ideally completing back-end M&A financial and operational analysis.
- Highly proficient with Excel (e.g. Pivot tables, Vlookup)
- Experience with SQL would be an asset.
- Solid research and analytical skills.
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills and be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptable and flexible, willing to help out with any task.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
