Our **Social Impact Group** is seeking highly motivated, team-oriented **Associates** to join our **Team in any of our offices.**

Miller Thomson’s Social Impact Group is the largest national team of legal experts in Canada dedicated to helping charities, non-profit organizations and social enterprises meet their legal needs and accelerate their social impact. The Social Impact Group offers unmatched experience and expertise across Canada’s voluntary sector and beyond. Our forward-looking advice helps clients anticipate and address all manner of legal issues and position themselves for long-term impact and success. We advise Canadian and International organizations on all aspects relevant to their activities including, tax, regulatory matters and cross border funding. Our lawyers are considered thought leaders on tax matters and are frequent speakers at the Canadian Tax Foundation, Canadian Bar Association and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners conferences as well as author several charities and non-profit related publications.
- Excellent academic credentials
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- A license to practice Law in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan or Ontario
- Proven client management skills
- Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills
- An entrepreneurial attitude and keen interest in building client relationships
