**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

The following Trade Certifications are required:

- Mobile Crane Operator with a Class 1 ticket
- Overhead Traveling Crane Operator endorsement
- High standard of integrity and professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as being self-motivated to be able to work without supervision when required
- All successful applicants must meet the requirements for Canadian Government Security clearance_

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate mobile and overhead cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
- Perform pre-operational inspections, safety checks, test lifts, and load chart calculations
- Communicate with site leadership to determine the best placement of the crane for planned lifts
- Ensure that all rigging operations are carried out in a safe manner
- Service the hoist and swing equipment used to move machinery, materials, and other large objects.
- Assist with the crane assembly on-site
- Wear company-issued coveralls and/or work wear and all assigned Personal Protective Equipment
- Work safely
