**What will you do**

The Digital & Data Strategy Associate will work in support of J&J Consumer’s vision for Data Strategy - a true audience-centric approach to personalized marketing.

This role will support the implementation of the JNJ Consumer Audience Data Strategy for the Canadian market by fully using the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) capabilities, Data Management Platform (DMP), Consumer Data assets (CRM) and strategic partnerships with premium publishers and retailers. The Digital & Data Strategy Associate will closely partner with Brand teams, Agency Partners & Media Planning teams to increase the use of data-driven audiences across Direct, Programmatic, Social and Search campaigns.

This role will partner with Canadian Commercial Squads (Marketing Team), and Consumer Business Intelligence to support the development of Audience Segmentation & Data Strategies and will champion the creation and management of audiences connected to media.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Media Strategy development across all digital channels
- Oversee digital execution across channels
- Audience Development - 1st, 2nd, 3rd party data
- Audience Segmentation and overlap management (including Reach/Frequency)
- Audience Syndication (including GMP, DSP, DMP, activation & Data Partnership management)
- Audience Analytics & Insights
- Deliver on-going data-driven media optimization recommendations
- Support integration of new data sources and enhancements to our data model
- Evaluate new and existing media opportunities

This role will bring an intimate knowledge of dynamic and fast-paced AdTech & MarTech landscape/ecosystem and will help facilitate working models and relationships with Agency and external partners to deliver outstanding personalized marketing capabilities and execution.

In addition to leading audience creation and management, this role will work to accelerate overall organizational literacy in audience development, seeking to evolve tech solutions and capabilities.

Required Qualifications***

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree is required (preferably in Business) with a strong understanding of data analytics

**Experience**:

- 3- 5 years of professional business experience required
- Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Healthcare digital experience is an asset
- Solid understanding of Google Marketing Platform (GMP), Data Management Platform, Customer data platforms and identity graphs
- Hands on experience with Google Big Query and/or SQL coding is an asset
- Hands on working knowledge of Media platforms
- Experience across growth and performance marketing channels, including search, paid social, and programmatic
- Knowledge of digital marketing and analytics systems including Google Analytics & Tag Manager
- Deep understanding of the digital media eco-system and supply chain as well as that of data segmentation, and digital media metrics
- Experience in building and implementing data strategy is required
- Consumer-first mindset with strong analytical skills
- Ability to provide “thought leadership” and creative problem solving
- Strong return on investment focused business insight and process optimization attitude, strong analytical and change management skills required
- Comprehensive knowledge of ad technologies and emerging media
- Ability to influence across teams without direct accountability is critical
