**Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills**

Portion and wrap foods, Keep records of the quantities of food used, Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs, Stock refrigerators and salad bars. Alcohol service

**Dishwashing Skills**

Place dishes in storage area, Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, Scour pots and pans, Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units

**Equipment and Machinery Experience**

Conventional oven, Food dispensers

**Kitchen Helpers Skills**

Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, Handle and store cleaning products

**Weight Handling**

Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

**Food Service Helpers Specific Skills**

Load buspans and trays, Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables, Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs

**Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)**

Safe Food Handling certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Food Safety Certificate, Smart Serve, Serving It Right Certificate, Food Service worker certificate (We will train if not already certified)

**Shifts daily from 5:00am to 11am/12pm**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-16 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Bay, ON P1B 2T3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
