Service and Spare Parts Team Leader

**ABOUT POSITION**
**Service and Spare Parts Team Leader** helps the VP Services with various service, spare parts and production support activities. This includes revenue production, quoting and negotiating agreements, scheduling and managing service work, managing Spare Parts operations, and working in collaboration with local and global Services teams. This role will also ensure customer satisfaction, evaluate feedback and report to the VP Services NAM.
**Responsibilities**
- Support the VP Service in developing and implementing appropriate long-term growth strategies aligned with companies’ strategic goals
- Operational developments, coordination and leading the service and spare parts team.
- Be accountable for order intake and revenue for spare parts and production support services
- Collaborate closely with other local and global Services business lines and business units
- Prepare accurate spare parts forecasting and increase delivery reliability through optimizing inventory accuracy, ensuring parts availability in coordination with the procurement team
- Actively quote and negotiate spare parts, services visits, and standard service agreements
- Identify and take advantage of opportunities for service, field service, performance-based, and site services related agreements in coordination with VP Services
- Actively negotiate standard service agreements and provide support for larger scope negotiations to successfully maximize the entire life cycle of customers’ equipment
- In cooperation with our NAM sales team, support CAPEX upgrade sales
- Ensure marketing initiatives are in place in cooperation with the marketing team
- Follow up on customer satisfaction on the support services provided and/or spare parts pricing and deliveries, evaluate feedback and report to VP Services
- Follow local HR related functions and ensure you and your team abide by all company policies and procedures
- In cooperation with global safety team, ensure safety initiatives and procedures are followed for your team
- Work in collaboration with HR and VP Service to hire, onboard and train new employees, drive employee engagement and resolve personnel issues requiring corrective action
- Manage skills matrix and training systems for existing and new employees
- Ensure safety initiatives and procedures are followed by Services team
- All other duties as assigned
**Qualifications and Experience**
- + 5 Years’ experience in leading, managing and developing a service business, servicing industrial machinery
- Degree or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or similar
- Strong technical background with equipment used in a manufacturing industry
- Good understanding of how to develop operational excellence and continuous improvements through proactive service and maintenance
- Flexibility to travel locally through Canada and the U.S as required
- Must possess a valid passport and driver's license
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI
- Microsoft office package
