The successful applicant will provide support to the instructor of IS 100 in the Spring semester, by assisting with the HyFlex delivery of the course - monitoring Zoom chat and providing technical support as needed; as well as by assisting with marking assignments, exams/quizzes, exam invigilation and other general duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Priority will be given to applicants who maintain status as full-time students at the University of Regina in the term the position is offered (Spring/Summer 2024) or in the upcoming term (Fall 2024)

Preference will be given to fourth year and graduate students who have a good academic background relevant to International Studies. Students must be familiar with Zoom, with proofreading and editing, be self-organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Casual Work Hours

The successful applicant will be expected to provide support for the course beginning May 6th through June 19th, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. and also to provide assistance with marking assignments, exam invigilation, and other duties until June 26th. This will involve approximately 6-9 hours of work per week.
