La division Vie et Sécurité d'Intrado est responsable de certains aspects essentiels de notre vie quotidienne. Nos solutions sont responsables de tout ce qui se passe après qu'un appel 9-1-1 est passé - routage des appels, livraison, détermination de l'emplacement et gestion des données. Que vous appeliez d'une ligne fixe, d'un téléphone cellulaire ou d'un texto au 9-1-1, nous nous assurons que les premiers intervenants obtiennent les bonnes informations au bon moment afin qu'ils puissent sauver des vies.

En tant qu'administrateur de système chez Intrado, vous serez responsable de l'ensemble de l'administration quotidienne de la plate-forme attribuée, y compris le dépannage et la résolution des problèmes au fur et à mesure qu'ils surviennent ; développer des plans et des processus conçus pour améliorer les capacités à long terme du système ; s'assurer que la plate-forme ou le système fonctionne correctement à tout moment sans trop monopoliser les ressources et reconnaît les connexions avec d'autres machines applicables sur le réseau ; développer de nouveaux outils et procédures visant à rendre la maintenance de la plate-forme plus efficace en identifiant les processus pouvant être automatisés.

**FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Gérer et maintenir les systèmes d'exploitation (OS) UNIX actuellement supporté sur des environnements d'exploitation physiques et virtuels, en fournissant des services de supervision technique et de consultation.
- Utiliser les scripts UNIX (Bourne, Korn, PERL, BASH, PowerShell, etc.) pour optimiser et automatiser les tâches de l'administrateur système.
- Fournir un soutien technique pour les efforts de reprise après sinistre (réels ou simulés).
- Travailler avec et gérer les tickets de gestion des incidents dans le système de tickets du service d'assistance.
- Exécuter des fonctions de sauvegarde/restauration pour les environnements de serveur UNIX.
- Effectuer toutes les fonctions de sécurité/conformité pour les environnements de serveur UNIX, y compris (Centre d'acceptation de conformité assuré (ACAS), SPLUNK, système de sécurité basé sur l'hôte (HBSS), système de posture de sécurité d'entreprise (ESPS), etc.) pour surveiller et atténuer les vulnérabilités et assurer conformité dans les délais spécifiés.

**QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES**

**Éducation**
- Un diplôme en informatique, systèmes d'information, génie électrique, ingénieur en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe est requis. Un baccalauréat en informatique, systèmes d'information, génie électrique, ingénieur en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe est préférable. Une expérience de travail équivalente dans un poste similaire peut être substituée aux exigences éducatives.

**Expérience**
- Un an d’expérience dans l'administration et la maintenance d'un système d'exploitation est requise. Un an d'expérience dans les opérations de centre d'appels ou les télécommunications est préférable
- Des études avancés en vue d'obtenir un baccalauréat (par exemple, année junior et senior, etc.) en informatique, SIG ou dans un domaine connexe peuvent être remplacés par une année d'expérience en système

As a Systems Administrator with Intrado you will be responsible for the entire day-to-day administration of assigned platform, including troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise; develop plans and processes designed to improve long-term capabilities of system; ensure platform or system is operating correctly at all times without over-utilizing resources and is recognizing connections with other applicable machines on the network; develop new tools and procedures aimed at making platform maintenance more effective and efficient, identifying processes that can be automated

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage and maintain currently supported and subsequent UNIX based Operating Systems (OS) on physical and virtual operating environments, providing technical oversight and consultation services.
- Utilize UNIX scripting (Bourne, Korn, PERL, BASH, PowerShell, etc.) to optimize and automate system administrator tasks.
- Provide technical support for disaster recovery efforts (actual or simulated).
- Perform hardware and software technology refreshes, ensuring milestone compliance while coordinating with MPs to minimize disruptions.
- Work with and manage Incident Management tickets within help desk ticketing system.
